Stone wool blanket (Isoblanket, Rock wool blanket, mineral wool blanket)
Insulated blanket with mesh, or commonly known as isoblanket, or stone wool blanket with mesh, is a strategic product for almost all industries.
It's rare to find a factory where this product hasn't been used.
Anywhere energy loss needs to be prevented, this product is used in some way.
The main application of this product is in furnace walls and insulation of pipes with a size over 8 inches.
The thermal tolerance of this product is up to 1100 degrees Celsius, and its full efficiency is up to 800 degrees Celsius, depending on its thickness and density.
The stone wool blanket with mesh, or isoblanct, as implied by its name, has mesh on one side by default.
The presence of mesh on at least one side is mandatory, as the raw wool needs to be sewn using non-flammable thread.
Production method:
The raw wool, coming out of the production line, is layered as per the customer's request,
with specified thickness, density, and dimensions, and then the mesh is placed over it and woven using a sewing machine.
Of course, if the order includes aluminum or kraft paper cover, this layer is placed before
putting the raw wool on the mesh.
So, in order:
First the wire mesh, then the paper or aluminum layer, and finally, the stone wool fibers are placed on top of each other, and ultimately sewn using a sewing machine.
This product is in roll form and usually has dimensions of 120×5000 centimeters.
However, based on the customer's request and the flexibility of the company's production line, the dimensions of the roll can be customized.
The heat transfer coefficient of this product is very low and, of course, it also has good sound insulation properties.
